Let your inner geek run free at Siam Discovery

ECOTOPIA AT Siam Discovery is turning into a green runway for urban guys, showcasing the latest trendy, eco-friendly lifestyle products, all locally made and mostly using recycled and natural materials.

Ecomo Craze has recycled a fertiliser bag for use as a stylish tote bag that wouldn’t look out of place on the streets of Paris. It’s practical, lightweight and also affordable – perfect for guys fond of street style.

Famous for mixing and matching materials, the Remaker uses slick cutting techniques to transform second-hand clothes into fashionable gear. This season there’s a new black rucksack made from old sheepskin and it really lends the use some rocker style.

Forrest wristwatch, Bt3,700

Forrest has used all kinds of natural materials, including stone, in limited edition wristwatches that have amazing artistic appeal.

For travellers, Yolk offers Solar Paper, a phone charger equipped with the world’s thinnest solar panel – no thicker than a single sheet of paper. Once it’s been in the sun for a bit, it puts an end to worries about finding an electrical outlet.

Wave notebook from Rocketbook, Bt1,250

New-wave brand Rocketbook will steal the hearts of hi-tech men with its innovative reusable Wave notebooks. You select the page of notes you want to save and it’s stowed away on a cloud server. And, once the notebook is full, you can erase all the contents simply by placing it in a microwave oven on reheat for 30 seconds.

Ecotopia is on the fourth floor of Siam Discovery. Find out more at (02) 658 1000, extension 3400.
